Winter sports on the Arlberg

As the largest ski area in Austria and fifth largest in the world, in winter the countryside around Lech offers reliable snow conditions, variety and fascination. Not only do skiers and snowboarders find everything they could possibly wish for, but there are also many other great winter sports facilities such as tobogganing, winter walks and snow shoe walking. Offering dramatic landscapes, well-prepared pistes and walking tracks, as well as a great selection of watering holes and aprés-ski, Lech is a village which has retained its original charm. There is a natural harmony existing between the natural world and the village of Lech, and this is one of our main plus points.
